Many of the flowers in our wedding bouquets were grown in our own flower garden. Not the roses, but lisianthus, snaps dragons, yarrow, queen Ann's lace, zinnias, statice, daisies, lilies, etc. I only use commercially grown flowers if that is the Brides preference, otherwise I'll use as many flowers from my garden as I can.
Summer 2014
It's been a busy summer, and I haven't had time to do any updates , but here is a sample of some of the wedding bouquets we did this summer. It's been great to have my daughter helping me, but she is a high performance rower, so her practise times took priority. Thankfully we could work around it, and she was my " right hand girl"!

So it's been a really busy summer, and I haven't had a chance to update my blog, but here are a few of the bouquets I did this spring and summer. I like to incorporate as many flowers from my garden in the bouquets as possible. Brides are not always aware of what flowers are available here in Manitoba that are locally grown. So sometimes it's necessary to incorporate some roses or other flower that the Bride really likes, and they would come from a out of province supplier.
